Trace fossils of small carnivorous dinosaurs 77 million years old found with their eggs, and stored in Calgary Alberta Canada Fossils Limited. Fossils show there are at least five eggs, and nests that measured about five feet.
"Its characteristics are similar to birds' nests and from the analysis, we can find out how long the age of fossils and the construction of the nest and can answer some questions old who came first, the chicken or the egg," said researcher Francois Therrien, who is curator of paleontology at the museum dinosurus Royal Tyrrell Canada.
And the answer? Until now still can not clear whether the chicken or the egg came first, said Darla Zelenitsky, paleontologists from the University of Calgary in Alberta which is the first scientists to closely examine the nest dinosurus it.
But the rough answer can be obtained. Dinosaurs make a cage and put the eggs long before the emergence of bird (or chicken), which represents a change from dinosaurs.
"Eggs from the chickens came first. The appearance of flesh-eating chicken after dinosurus egg put it," said Zelenitsky.
So the question is changed, whichever comes first appear? Dinosaurs or dinosaur eggs?
Zelenitsky said the fossil nests and eggs found in the meat-eating dinosaur belonging named theropod. While the egg layer is similar to egg maniraptoran, theropod group which, according to paleontologist is a bird of the period 150 million years ago in the Jurassic era.
